Teriyaki Sauce
Great on beef, chicken, fish, rice or vegetables.
Ingredients
- 1 c. soy sauce
- 5 T. ketsup
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. sake or dry sherry
- 3 T. apple juice
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1/3 c. cornstarch dissolved in 1/3 c. water
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients, except cornstarch mixture.
- Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Gradually add cornstarch mixture. Continue stirring until thickened.
