Line two baking sheets with parchment or waxed paper. Go through your potato chips to find the whole ones for dipping.
In a small microwave safe bowl, microwave chocolate candy melts at 50% power OR defrost setting for 1 minute; stir thoroughly. Continue to microwave and stir at 30 second intervals until completely melted and smooth.
Dip each chip two-thirds of the way into the melted chocolate; set on prepared pans and lightly sprinkle with sea salt or colorful sprinkles. Allow chocolate to harden at room temperature or place in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes if you’re in a hurry
