Eggnog French Toast
Recipe by my son Zach McNutt. Believe it or not, he’s been making this French Toast since he was 3 years old! Perfect for Christmas morning!

  1. In a shallow bowl, stir eggnog, eggs and vanilla with a fork until just combined.
  2. Dip thick sliced bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak up the custard.
  3. In a large skillet, over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and sauté each slice for 2-1/2 minutes or until golden brown. Turn over and cook the other side for an additional 1-1/2 minutes.
  4. Serve with a pat of butter and confectioner’s sugar, or drizzle with maple syrup if desired.
