Christmas Coconut Jell-O Balls
This quick and easy one bowl candy requires no baking or melting. What a pretty addition to your holiday dessert table!
Servings: 30 candies
Ingredients
- 3/4 c. heavy whipping cream
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. red Jell-O (I used cherry)
- 2 c. unsweetened desiccated coconut finely grated not shredded, divided
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream and Jell-O until well combined
- Add 1-3/4 cups of the desiccated coconut to the Jell-O mixture; stir to combine.
- Roll the mixture into 1-tablespoon-sized balls. Place the balls onto a rimmed baking sheet; refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Roll the balls into the remaining coconut to coat. Store candy in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Notes
Repeat steps above substituting green (Lime) Jell-O for red (Cherry) Jell-O
