Rhubarb Dump Cake

Rhubarb Dump Cake

What could be easier, just dump, bake and serve!!
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. (4 cups) rhubarb chopped
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
  • 1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/3 c. butter melted
  • Whipped cream for garnish
  • ground cinnamon for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the rhubarb evenly in the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle the sugar over the rhubarb, followed by the jell-o, and finally the cake mix. Pour the water and melted butter over the top. Do not stir.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the rhubarb is tender. Serve warm or cold topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
