Shrimp Salsa
Serve Shrimp Salsa with warm tortilla chips, as a filling for Shrimp Tacos, or a topping for Baked Potatoes.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. cooked shrimp peeled and diced
- 2 roma or plum tomatoes finely diced
- 1/2 red onion finely diced
- 1 sm. jalapeño stemmed, seeded and minced, optional
- 1/4 c. minced cilantro
- 1/4 c. fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 clove garlic minced
Instructions
- Stir the cooked shrimp, tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, salt, pepper, and garlic together in a large glass or non-reactive bowl.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until the flavors combine, at least 1 hour.
- Serve cold with warm tortilla chips for dipping.
